The George W. Bush administration must not be allowed to have control of our government for another four years.

A few of my reasons for taking this position follow.

They have shown gross mismanagement and extremely dangerous policies and practices by (not necessarily in order of importance):

1. Dismantling environmental protection previously put in place, unilaterally abrogating negotiated International treaties, and ignoring clear and present environmental dangers such as global warming.
2. Attacking Iraq without justification and lying to support their policy, dragging down the economy and sacrificing over 1,000 young lives and creating far more terrorists with far more motivation than they have eliminated by the so called “War on Terror”.
3. Giving 40% of their tax break to the top 1% of the population and 17% to the bottom 60%.
4. Mismanagement of the economy to take the nation from a budget surplus to the largest deficit of all time.
5. Operating a foreign policy based on the belief that we have a “calling” to spread a brand of fundamentalist Christian western style democracy throughout the world
6. Attempting to divert the American peoples attention from the issues in this campaign by creating Vietnam service scandal for John Kerry.
7. Undercutting government funding (through “privatization” and “faith based” programs) of health care and Social Security programs and saddling future generations with enormously high levels of debt service.
